Solano

Founder of BOOCS, a Central American consulting and BPO Firm specialized in Shared Service Centers and Financial and Accounting processes transformation. The Firm is also focus in advising its clients to achieve productivity improvements, profitability goals and international tax compliance.

Mr. Solano served as Accounting Shared Services VP at Avianca airlines, where he founded the Group Shared Service Center, in this role he was responsible for the successful integration of the accounting, finance, taxes and consolidation function for more than 140 entities operating in 26 countries.

He also played key financial managerial positions in British American Tobacco and has more than 10 years of experience performing internal and external audit, having formerly worked for KPMG and Price Waterhouse Coopers

Avelar

Founder of BOOCS, a Central American consulting and BPO Firm specialized in Shared Service Centers and Financial and Accounting processes transformation. The Firm is also focus in advising its clients to achieve productivity improvements, profitability goals and international tax compliance.

Arnulfo served in several executive functions for about 20 years with Avianca airlines. As Financial Operations Vicepresident, he was responsible for the integration of the Shared Service Center, focus in the Procure to Pay, Sales to Cash and Sales to Revenue cycles in 26 countries and more than 140 entities.

Previously, Mr. Avelar served as Fleet VP in Avianca and Corporate Treasury VP in TACA. He leaded several key roles like Financial Planning, Corporate Finance, M&A, Cash Management, Risk Management and Fleet procurement and financing.
